Opportunities and specifics of AI Governance on the topic of image, video and sound.
The thematic events on Managing Artificial Intelligence Systems are part of Slovenian EU Council Presidency activities.
You are invited to the next event in the AI Governance series:
Opportunities and specifics of AI Governance on the topic of image, video and sound.
The event will take place in a hybrid format on Monday, 18 October 2021, from 10.00 to 13.30, in the Digital Centre of Slovenia – Technology for People, as part of Slovenian Presidency of the Council of the European Union.
In recent years, artificial intelligence technology has become mature, widely available, integrated into various business and social processes and even into our private lives. At the same time, AI is a mystery to most people, and as a result, it creates a certain unease and fears. The implications of the use of AI also raise different perspectives among stakeholders and researchers, and thus a number of ethical issues. The answer and the solution to establishing a trustworthy AI technology lies in appropriate regulation and defined ethical guidelines.
Human control, security, privacy, transparency, transparency, diversity, non-discrimination, fairness, environmental and social well-being, accountability – just a few of the concepts that should be key to the concept of trustworthy AI technology. The new era of artificial intelligence therefore requires us to use it in a safe and trustworthy manner, which must be defined by appropriate guidelines and regulated accordingly.
The views, understandings and perspectives that have emerged through a series of events will be summarised in guidelines that will form the basis for the trustworthy use of AI.
