UI4ToP – Optimization of production processes in the factories of the future with a use of AI
By harnessing the potential of AI, organisations could increase their competitive advantage and productivity, two key elements that lead to greater prosperity. Slovenia has outstanding experts and breakthrough technologies in this field, but we need to move towards a broader use of AI both in supporting business and production processes and in upgrading products and services.
This seminar will discuss the use of artificial intelligence in the factories of the future. We will try to shed light on and demystify AI, to show it as one of the fundamental building blocks of modern smart factories to optimise production in all possible aspects; ecological, economic, social (enabling higher productivity, lower costs, greater eco-friendliness and greater flexibility of production).
For inspiration, we will listen to some successful examples of the use of AI technologies in Slovenian industry, which is already boldly building the factories of the future in cooperation with science.
You will realise:
- that artificial intelligence in smart factories can increase productivity and reduce costs, and above all make production much more flexible to adapt to new products,
- that artificial intelligence, as a building block of smart factories, enables the development of new solutions at the level of monitoring, control and optimisation of production processes
