The Slovenian Digital Center, a central economic event during the Slovenian Presidency of the Council of the European Union, enables Slovenian companies to present their business ideas, products, services and / or solutions to foreign economic delegations.
Slovenian Digital Center – Technology for the People hosts numerous events in the field of artificial intelligence, digitalization, robotics, society 5.0, cybersecurity, innovative technologies, sustainable society and economy. The crossroad of Slovenian development and economic progress offers companies the opportunity to establish new business contacts with foreign companies or other representatives of economic delegations.
In October, SPIRIT Slovenia organizes a Slovenian-Polish business forum on the topic of digitalization and cybersecurity, in November, a Slovenia-Slovak business forum on the topic of digital transformation and a Slovenian-Japanese business forum on the topic of society 5.0.
Business forums with Austrian, Hungarian and Serbian companies are also being prepared, which will enable additional support for Slovenian companies in the internationalization of operations in the coming business year.

SLOVENIAN-HUNGARIAN BLOCKCHAIN BUSINESS FORUM – September 20, 2021
As part of the Slovenian Presidency of the Council of the European Union, the Ministry of Economic Development and Technology together with participating partners is organizing European Blockchain Week (EBCW2021), which will take place between 20 and 24 September at the Slovenian Digital Center in BTC City.
SPIRIT Slovenia, a public agency, as a partner organization, is co-organizing the first event of the EBCW 2021 – Slovenian-Hungarian blockchain business forum as part of this week. The forum will be dedicated to the presentation of Slovenian and Hungarian activities in the field of blockchain technology from the point of view of the national and European dimension, since both countries are members of the European blockchain partnership. In addition to Hungary, Serbia will be another visiting country.
The business forum will be a great opportunity to network with Hungarian and Serbian companies in the field of blockchain technologies.

SLOVENIAN-POLISH BUSINESS FORUM ON DIGITALIZATION AND CYBERSECURITY – October 20, 2021
Within the program of this business forum, business opportunities for joint cooperation, business environments of Poland and Slovenia, Polish companies in the delegation, innovations in the field of cybersecurity and some examples of good practices of Slovenian companies will be presented. Interviews between event participants will follow. A detailed program of the event and registration for B2B meetings will be available at a later date. The business event is organized by the SPIRIT Slovenia, public agency, in cooperation with the Polish Trade and Investment Agency, with the support of the Embassy of the Republic of Poland in Slovenia, the Polish Chamber of Commerce and the Polish-Slovenian Business Club Triglav-Rysy.

SLOVENIAN-SLOVAK BUSINESS FORUM ON DIGITAL TRANSFORMATION – 16 November, 2021
Within the Slovenian-Slovak business forum on the topic of digital transformation, the business environments of Slovenia and Slovakia, trends in technological development and examples of good practices of both Slovak and Slovenian companies will be presented. B2B meetings between event participants will follow. The business forum and interviews will be conducted in English without translation. A detailed program of the event and registration for B2B meetings will be available at a later date. The business event is organized by the SPIRIT Slovenia, public agency, and the Slovak Investment and Trade Promotion Agency (SARIO).

SLOVENIAN-JAPANESE BUSINESS FORUM ON SOCIETY 5.0 – December 7, 2021
In order to bring Slovenia closer to the concept of Society 5.0, broader cooperation is necessary, which includes decision-makers, businesses, universities and civil society. At the event, target areas of cooperation and reference projects of the Society 5.0 will be presented. With the establishment of the new Government Office for Digital Transformation, Slovenia has prepared measures for recovery in the areas of public administration and digital society, digitalization of education, healthcare, economy and the business environment, new technologies and digital diplomacy. This also represents an opportunity to create new partnerships and ecosystems between Slovenia and Japan and to further develop the concept of Society 5.0 in Slovenia.
The business forum will present innovative projects of Slovenian companies that follow the concept of the Society 5.0. The business forum and interviews will be conducted in English without translation. A detailed program of the event and registration for B2B meetings will be available at a later date.
