Micro, small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) can present themselves free of charge at the Slovenian Digital Center – Technology for people, during the Slovenian Presidency of the Council of the European Union. The Ministry of Economic Development and Technology, SPIRIT Slovenia, public agency, Digital Innovation Hub (DIH Slovenije) and the BTC Company wish to bring technology closer to individuals, companies, public institutions and other organizations. The Slovenian Digital Center will give special attention and offer additional opportunities especially to the SMEs in the period from 1 July to 31 December.
The SMEs are given the possibility of acquiring the right to six-day participation free of charge via the Ministry of Economic Development and Technology auxiliary scheme “de minimis“ or 1,050.40 € + VAT for those SMEs, which have already received more than 200,000 € of state aid in the last three years. The SMEs that can apply to this Public Call for Interest are those with a seat in the Republic of Slovenia, engaging in economic activity as natural or legal persons, and organized as companies, sole proprietors, individuals or cooperatives. The application for the non-financial aid can be submitted at any time during the validity of the appeal.
How does the application procedure for the SMEs look like?
- Application to the Public Call for Interest via online platform that can be found HERE;
- Choose the desired week of participation at the Slovenian Digital Center on the platform;
- Provide a description of the company and the reasons for the presentation at the Slovenian Digital Center;
- Profit from the non-financial aid “de minimis” if you are entitled to it – otherwise the cost of the exhibition space is paid by the company itself.
